How far along: 28 weeks. Hello, third trimester! Time seems to be flying by!
Due Date: June 9th, 2014
Gender: Girl!
Name: Still undecided, although I feel like we are possibly getting closer.
Weight Gain: Not sure, but guessing along the lines of 12-15 lbs. Maybe more!
Maternity clothes: Yes. I'm squeezing into some of my non-maternity tops still, but pants are totally out of the question.
Stretch Marks: Just the ones left over from Rubes.
Belly button in or out: In
Food cravings: Coffee, with lots of half & half.
Sleep: I think I'm sleeping well. I've been waking up feeling like I haven't rested enough, and have been extremely tired during the day. I'm sure it has something to to with adjusting back to normal life after being able to sleep as much as I wanted in Hawaii for a week.
This week: This week has been ROUGH! Transitioning the kids back after us being gone for so long is proving to be more difficult than I imagined. Plus, our van broke down on the highway, and our dog has been sick. I feel like we're getting a good kick in the butt for going on vacation. Speaking of, our vacation was AMAZING. We had a great time together, slept a ton, and relaxed on the beach. When we got back to Texas we got to spend some quality time with just Ruby girl, and we celebrated one of my BFFs getting married. Ruby was the cutest flower girl ever (no surprise there), and we had a blast.
Miss anything: Besides the sandy beach, sunshine, and sleep? Nope, nothing at all. ;)
Movement: Still moving like a crazy lady. Movements have definitely changed some, and I can tell things are getting a little more cramped in fort uterus. She will hit the top of my ribs and then I feel a kick or a punch super down low. I think she's getting LONG. She does some fast paced, crazy dance at night when we finally get the kids in bed and I stretch out on the couch. Andrew and I always sit and watch my belly for the spastic, fast movements. I really don't know how she moves so fast in there...it's insane!
Queasy or sick: Oh, the HEARTBURN. I remember having heartburn pretty frequently when I was pregnant with Ruby, but I do not remember it being this bad! It's been so bad at points that if I bend over, I feel the reflux coming up into my throat and mouth! Yuck! I've been eating tums like they are candy, and had to go buy a jumbo bottle this week. It's been awful.
Looking forward to: I know we just got done with vacation, but honestly, the answer to this question is SPRING BREAK. We have a week off of school the week after Easter and I'm counting down the days. I'm looking forward to spending the week at home hanging out with my big girl, and also planning on busting out our buckets and buckets of baby clothes/things to start washing/organizing for little chick. I know it's too early to already be nesting, but I totally am.
No pictures this week. I know I have some from Hawaii to post that include the bump, but I haven't gotten around to putting them on the computer yet. I'll definitely try and take a picture this week, especially to mark our entrance into the 3rd trimester! Wahoo!
