40 Weeks

How far along: 40 whole weeks. The most I've ever been (and ever hope to be) pregnant.
Due Date: June 9th, 2014
Gender: Girl!
Name: We're ready to name her.
Weight Gain: don't wanna talk about it.
Maternity clothes: Of course.
Belly button in or out: both
Food cravings: Anything. I will eat anything.
Sleep: Pretty bad. I've ended up taking Benadryl several nights just to get a little sleep.
This week: Ruby and I have been having lots of fun together the past week waiting on little sister. We've gone swimming, to the splash pad, park, children's museum, and have had lots of fun around the house too. It's a little easier to not obsess and focus on the fact that we're waiting on a baby when I have a busy toddler to chase around. At my doctors appointment on Tuesday, I was dilated to 3cm, and 80% effaced (which I  have been for the past two weeks). I thought that meant that she would be here SOON, but turns out I was wrong. I'll go back tomorrow if I'm still pregnant (counting on it), so we will see if anymore progress has been made.
Miss anything: Sleep. And walking without a waddle.
Movement: Still a SUPER active little one, especially at night! She has some major tricks up her sleeve and it makes Andrew and I crack up to see the crazy shapes my belly takes each night.
Queasy/sick or other symptoms: Insomnia, heartburn, backache, swollen feet, basically all normal signs that I'm about to pop a baby out.
Looking forward to: Having a sweet little one to cuddle...hopefully SOON! It's getting harder and harder to be patient.

Sweet girl,
We are so ready to meet you. I cannot wait to see and kiss your beautiful face. Ruby can't wait to hold you, give you a "pashi" and help feed you a bottle eventually. You're going to be so loved. I promise we are nice people, so why don't you come out and meet us soon. Today would be nice, actually.
We love you darling girl,
Mama
