meet the crosbys

Hi!
We're the Crosbys.
Two Three FOUR of the many, many Crosbys that inhabit this planet.

In August of 2008, we met, and quickly realized that our quirky, hairy selves were meant to be.
Andrew, the summer we met.
Also the summer we met.
After surviving years of long distance dating, Andrew decided to make me his wife, and I decided that I liked that decision.

We got married in June 2011 on a catamaran off of the Hawaiian coast.
Yes, it was as magical as it sounds.

Since then, we've nestled into our little house in New Orleans,
and I've fallen in love with this city that my husband has loved for years.
We work.
I'm a Registered Nurse at a New Orleans Charter School.
Andrew is a minister at a local New Orleans church.
We're foster parents. It's hard, challenging, and at times heartbreaking, but we love it. Each child we meet captures our heart in a different way.
When we're not working, we're most likely cuddled up at home laughing at our dog, and staring at our adorable kids. We like music and food, and we live in a pretty great place to enjoy both things.

In December, 2011 our world was rocked when we found out we are expecting our first child.
Our lives changed for the better on August 24th, 2012 when Ruby Love graced the world with her beautiful self.

Lucy Joy joined our crazy bunch on June 13th, 2014. She lives up to her name, and has brought us an indescribable amount of JOY.

We have a crazy pup named Banjo that we adore. Our family wouldn't be the same without him. He makes us laugh and drives us nuts, but we love him to death.

We're passionate about

Jesus.
Family.
Foster Kids.
Our church.
Loving these crazy little boys.
Music, and concert going.
Food.
(eating and cooking it)
Saints football.
(Andrew)
Mavs basketball.
(Allye)
Dreaming big, and often.

Some of our dreams include

Becoming foster parents.
Adopting.
Owning a home of our own.
Going on many, many adventures together.

Thanks for joining us on the adventure!
Hang on tight.

Love,
Andrew, Allye, Ruby, Lucy, & Banjo
